President Murmu, lays foundation stones of multiple projects worth more than Rs.280 Cr at Deendayal Port

In the presence of Shri Acharya Devvrat, Hon. Governor of Gujarat: Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, the Hon. President of India, will virtually lay the foundation stone of four MEGA Projects of the Deendayal Port Authority, Kandla (DPA) from Civil Hospital, Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS), Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Shri Rushikesh Patel, the esteemed Minister of Health; Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, the esteemed Minister of State for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways & Tourism; Shri Naresh Patel, the esteemed Minister of Tribal Development; Smt.

Nimishaben Suthar, the illustrious Minister of State for Tribal Development and Shri S.K. Mehta, IFS, the Chairman of the Deendayal Port Authority-Kandla.

The Hon. President of India will formally dedicate the following four Deendayal Port megaprojects:

  • The 69.51 crore rupee project to build new dome-shaped godowns inside the cargo jetty area.
  • An 80 crore rupee project to upgrade the plots and storm water drains in a 66 hectare area near the cargo jetty.
  • Project Cost: Rs. 47.00 Crores for the improvement of Plots, Roads, and Storm Water Drains in a 40 Hectare Area Inside the Cargo Jetty Area.
  • A project to upgrade Tuna Road from two lanes to four lanes will cost Rs. 87.32 crores.

DPA is making significant progress and reaching new milestones.
