New shipping service connects Gulf-India

Gulf-India Express 2 (GIX2), a circular service that connects Hamad Port with India, has begun operating. This development should further improve and solidify Doha’s trade links.
Aladin Express is in charge of the new service at Hamad port, according to a tweet from QTerminals, a partnership between Mwani Qatar and Milaha.
The new service rotates between the ports of Mundra (India), King Abdulaziz (Saudi Arabia), Khalifa Bin Salman (Bahrain), Hamad (Qatar), Jebel Ali (the UAE), and Mundra (India) (India).

Through direct service and a quicker transit time, the service, which began on September 23 with the 1,740TEU (twenty foot equivalent unit) GREEN ACE, would boost the potential for trade between the nations.
It will complement the Gulf India Express (GIX) that was launched on April 9 this year with 510TEU URANUS, calling at Mundra, Sohar, Mundra, Sohar, Jebel Ali, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and Mundra.
