East Africa Express 5 (EAX5), a new service that OOCL has introduced in its Asia-Africa network to give complete port coverage in the areas, has been launched to improve its network coverage in growing markets. With a competitive transit time of 9 or 14 days from Abu Dhabi or Mundra to Mombasa, respectively, this new route will provide direct connections between the India Subcontinent, Middle East, and East Africa in addition to OOCL’s existing loops EAX1 / 3 / 4.
Rotation of ports for the EAX5 is as follows: Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi, Mombasa, Dar Es Salaam, and Nhava Sheva.
