India International Travel Mart Kicks Off: Promoting Sustainable Tourism

The India International Travel Mart (IITM) began today, celebrating and promoting sustainable and eco-friendly tourism. Running from August 2nd to 4th at Trade centre, Nandambakkam the event offers a vibrant platform for the travel and tourism industry to converge.
Exhibitors include state government travel and tourism offices, travel and tour agents, hotels, and resorts. Over 20 Indian states and representatives from 8 international destinations are participating.
The first two days are reserved for companies and organizations, fostering industry networking and partnerships. The final day opens to the public, inviting travel enthusiasts to explore travel opportunities, interact with experts, and learn about sustainable travel.
IITM emphasizes sustainable and eco-friendly tourism practices, encouraging measures to preserve the environment and local cultures. The event underscores the collective effort required to promote responsible tourism.
