UKMTO Reports Two Vessel Attacks in the Red Sea

On 12 August, the crude oil tanker DELTA ATLANTICA was attacked 63 nautical miles southwest of Al Hudaydah, Yemen. After two explosions near the vessel, it continued its voyage safely, with no damage reported. UKMTO confirmed the vessel was targeted by an unmanned surface vessel (USV). On 13 August, the crude oil tanker ON PHOENIX was similarly attacked 97 nautical miles northwest of Al Hudaydah. Despite an explosion near the ship, no casualties were reported. Both vessels, sailing under Liberian and Panama flags, continue their Sailing.
