The U.S. Testing Expertise and Access to Marine Energy Research (TEAMER) program has approved $2.1 million in funding for 13 projects under its thirteenth Request for Technical Support (RFTS). These projects will receive support for testing, numerical modeling, and access to various facilities, such as laboratory, tank, and flume testing, through the TEAMER Facility Network.
Selected projects include initiatives from Bluewater Network, C-Power, Crown Estate Scotland, Deep Anchor Solutions, and more, targeting advancements in wave and tidal energy, corrosion optimization, and environmental compliance. Each project must submit a completed test plan before starting assistance activities.
Applications for RFTS 14 are open until October 4, 2024, with RFTS 15 closing on February 7, 2025.
