India Gears Up for Seamless Trade with IMEC via New Middleware Platform

India,

India is developing a middleware software platform to enable seamless data exchange between the countries involved in the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal announced. The trial phase is expected within 6–8 months. IMEC, part of a transcontinental connectivity project, aims to streamline trade movement between Indian ports, the Middle East, and Europe. Feasibility studies are underway, with RITES Ltd leading efforts to enhance infrastructure along the India-Middle East corridor, including partnerships with Abu Dhabi Ports Group to assess development needs across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Israel.
